I'm not real big on name place cards for big dinners, but I think it is nice to put out a little placecard with a sweet sentiment. For those of you hosting Thanksgiving dinner next week, these little cards are super easy to whip up.
Fold a 2-1/2" x 3" piece of Dusty Durango cardstock in half, so that it is 2-1/2" wide by 1-1/2" tall. Add a sentiment--I choose 2 from the Falling Leaves stamp set. Stamp a couple of the leaves on scrap pieces of Whisper White and trim out. Adhere them to the placecards with Stampin' Dimensionals.
For the leaf on the left, I used markers--Crushed Curry, Dusty Durango and Chocolate Chip. To achieve the shading, start with the lightest color marker and work to the darkest, making large "swipes" of color across the leaf at random.
