Happy New Year's Eve, everyone! I'm back with one more Berry Christmas sample, although I may churn out some more before it's over with! The Holiday Mini Catalog ends on January 4, and that's your last chance to order this fun set.

This is a package of small cards, using the little bird in the set. When the "berries" are stamped on him, he looks kind of like he belongs on the Partridge Family, doesn't he?

Berry Christmas--Again!

Yes, I know Christmas is over, and I sure hope you had a great one. We certainly did. But, now that Christmas is past, I wanted to show you that you don't have to relegate your Berry Christmas set to the back of your stamping drawer.

For this card, stamp the poinsettia image in Bashful Blue onto Whisper White, then stamp again on a scrap and trim it out, then mount to the first image. Stamp the berries on a scrap of Certainly Celery and punch with the Trio Flower Punch. Insert a brad and mount to the center of the flower. With a few color changes, you'll see how easily this stamp set can stay out all year long!
 

Christmas Tree Week-Part 4

It's time for my last offering of Christmas Tree week. I hope you've gotten some ideas for unusual trees you can make quickly and easily.

Today's tree is made using the Photo Corner Punch and the Designer Series Paper pack you can receive for free as a hostess. Punch 5 of the large photo corners and stack them to make your tree. The birdie at the top comes from the Merry Details die for the Big Shot. The Round Tab Punch makes a great embellishment for the right-hand side.
 

Christmas Tree Week-Part 3 (And Re-Work Wednesday!)

Because it's Christmas Tree Week here on What2Stamp, I couldn't resist incorporating that into my regular Re-Work Wednesday feature. Remember, on Re-Work Wednesday, I take a card or other project in the catalog, and re-work it using stamps and accessories I happen to have--just to show you what you can do with your own supplies.

Today's inspiration comes from page 38 of the Idea Book & Catalog. The original is shown below:

I used Lovely As a Tree, an old favorite. After stamping in Basic Brown, I dabbed on some Stampin' Pastels. And, rather than use the die cut shown, I used my Ticket Corner Punch to dress up the edges of my Ruby Red accent. The thick ribbon and knot in the bow makes it a thick card to mail--but it's perfect for those cards you hand out at the office!

Christmas Tree Week-Part 2

Today's Christmas tree is a little unusual--it's made using the Little Leaves die for the Big Shot. I hand cut the tree trunk from a scrap of Chocolate Chip cardstock, then made little ornaments using the Tree Decorations die in the Holiday Mini catalog.
 

Christmas Tree Week-Part 1

This is Christmas Tree Week here at What2Stamp.com! I have 4 tree-themed projects planned to show you, starting today.

This fanciful tree was formed using the new "O Christmas Tree Pop-Up" die for the Big Shot, available in the Holiday Mini. The pop-up tree is designed to go inside a card, but it stands up quite well on its own, so I decided to just have it stand up as a little decoration. I embellished the tree with the Tree Decorations die and a little piece of yarn I had around the house.

Cupcake Picks

These fun cupcake picks were created by one of my best buds, Linda Hopton, a fellow Stampin' Up! demonstrator. She used the Merry Details die cut for the Big Shot, and placed them on punched out Scalloped Circles. She is soooo creative! You can visit her blog here. She made a whole bunch of these for our annual Christmas Card Camp, then placed them in cupcakes on her beautiful cupcake stand:

I must admit that it had never really occurred to me to make custom cupcake picks, but what a great idea for a party--quick and easy and they can be themed for any event! Great idea, Linda!
 

Make Merry Page

This 8"x8" page is a fun example of how to use the Berry Christmas set on a scrapbook page. This one is about our annual tradition of making "snowball" cookies.

Berry Christmas Tags

You probably remember my mentioning that great DVD we demonstrators were able to buy from Stampin' Up!, showing all those projects they made at a recent regional convention. Well, this project also was on the list--it is a cute box filled with tags, stamped with the Berry Christmas set. The box is made using the Bitty Box & Envelope Die with the Big Shot.
