Yes, this is the place the family simply calls, "Mommy's room." As in, "Where's Mommy?" "Oh, she's in her room."
It's the space where I work, create, take a breath. You typically can find me with a candle burning and a cat at my feet. And on many occasions, my son will be on the floor, thumbing through scrapbooks or baseball cards, just eager to be in my space. After all, it's a happy place to be. I'm finally getting around to finishing off this space, over 2 years after moving into this house. As most of you know, mommy's needs usually come last, and I am no exception. I've reused whatever I could in planning this space, but also decided that I finally had to break down and buy a few things to make it look and work the way I needed it to. You can see more photos of my room here.
