Demonstrator Kristi Crisman purchased and used my Flight of the Butterfly class planner (pictured below). Here is what she had to say about my class planners: "Thank you for offering this class planner. I had my first class with it yesterday and it was a huge success! I had 7 people sign up...2 of them want to do the same class again. Thanks again and I'll be watching your site for more planners!"--Kristi Crisman The Scalloped Circles Home Decor Class Planners Kit for All Seasons These classes originally were released individually, but I have now grouped them together in one big kit--for half the original price! This class is great fun for customers and a breeze for demonstrators, as there is only about 30 minutes of prep work! All the major cutting is done during the class, using the Big Shot. Customers will ink the letters and stamp various images to cut or punch out for embellishment. You can provide whatever stamps or embellishments you happen to have and then customers can choose what best fits their style. Because this is a home decor project, it's all about customizing the design the way you like it. This planner covers all major holidays and provides a couple of non-seasonal designs. Because it is a series, customers will want to make all of the holidays, giving you an opportunity to schedule a steady stream of classes. This class also is perfect for a Class by Mail, either for long-distance customers or for locals who have a conflict with the class time. The planner includes handouts for customers who attend a class, and a separate one for those who buy a kit. It also includes an ordering worksheet, wording for an email or blog, and SU-watermarked photos. If you don't have the Serif Essentials Alphabet used in the sample, you still can buy the planner and host the class. I have decided to offer letter sets for the projects to any demonstrator who buys the planner. The cost will be nominal, to cover supplies and shipping. I am offering this so that the class is open to all demonstrators. To order your planner, click the button below and your payment will be processed through Paypal. You do not need a Paypal account; you can pay with Visa, Mastercard, Discover or American Express. Once your payment has been processed, you will receive instructions on how to download the files immediately. The price is $30 U.S.; Paypal will adjust for Canadian payments. Photos of the projects are shown below.
Scalloped Envelope Scrapbook
This scrapbook in a box is perfect for "people who don't scrapbook!" During the class, stampers will cut 8 scalloped envelopes, using the Big Shot die cutter. The photo inserts have room for journaling on the flip side, or the inserts can be double-sided, to hold up to 16 photos. This project could be made with any type of Designer Series Paper, to hold baby photos, sports pictures, etc. The sample uses Holiday Treasures DSP and I added a sampling of photos from last Christmas.
The planner includes detailed instructions to make the box, which is held together with book rings. The rings are decorated with small pieces of various ribbons--use whatever you have on hand!
This class, like all my planners, involves almost no prep work for you as a demonstrator. Instead, you will give each customer a half-pack of Designer Series Paper, as well as the other supplies listed in the planner, and a copy of the Customer Handout. The customer handout gives detailed instructions on how to cut paper during the class, so that the customer can cut her own pieces, and thus decide which patterned papers she would like to use.
Running a class like this allows you to focus on demonstrating, rather than on cutting lots of paper the night before the class. It also allows the customer to make her own choice of which paper should be on the cover, and which ones she would like to use for envelopes. Using this system, a customer will have a fair amount of paper left over, so she can actually make 2 of these scrapbooks from just a half-pack of DSP--a great selling point at a time when we're all looking for a good deal!
The planner includes a worksheet to help you with ordering. You also will receive a marketing flyer you can customize and print, wording for your blog or email, and SU-watermarked photos you can post on your blog or SU site, or send through email.

Flight of the Butterfly Card Set & Book/Box
My class planners are aimed at demonstrators who would like to spend less time prepping, and at the same time, help customers learn how to cut their own paper, so that they can reproduce the projects at home. This class gives customers their card bases, and a half-pack of Bella Rose paper. As the demonstrator, you will help your stampers follow the detailed Class Handout while they cut their own paper and customize their cards.
This system has multiple benefits: 1) I don't spend hours prepping the night before a class; 2) Customers become more comfortable using a trimmer and following written instructions; 3) Because customers are cutting their own paper, they can customize their cards as they wish, boosting their creativity; and 4) This method allows customers to go home with a variety of scraps, which they can use to make more cards!
The class handout includes nearly 90 photos and detailed instructions. The class planner for demos contains a worksheet to help you with ordering, and a breakdown of how to set up the tables to ensure a smooth class flow. You also will receive a marketing flyer you can print, wording for your blog or email, and SU-watermarked photos you can post on your blog or send through email.

Priceless Box & Card Set Class
Welcome to my first class planner, featuring the cheerful Priceless stamp set and Bali Breeze Designer Series Paper.
I am offering this planner free to Stampin' Up! demonstrators, as a way to try out my new service. There are a few class planning services on the market now, and the variety is exciting. I have a little different take on class planning, and I'd like to share that with you.
The main difference in my classes is that I do not prepare all the materials for my customers. Instead, I cut the card bases and then give them a half-pack or full pack of designer paper (depending on the class) and give them cutting instructions. I work with them while they do their own cutting, and this has multiple benefits: 1) I don't spend hours prepping the night before a class; 2) Customers become more comfortable using a trimmer and following written instructions; 3) Because customers are cutting their own paper, they can customize their cards as they wish, boosting their creativity; and 4) This method allows customers to go home with a variety of scraps that they can use to make more cards. They love knowing that they could go home and make more cards that same evening, if they wanted to.
I know this method of class planning is different than what most demonstrators are used to, and that's why I'm sharing it with you for free, so that you can get a taste of a different way to work. I have been a demonstrator for more than 6 years and have tried many different systems, and this is the one I like best. I hope you'll give it a try and come back for more!
This planner is available only to Stampin' Up! demonstrators. To receive the free planner, please send me an email request, and in the body of the email, copy and paste any paragraph from the Current Updates section on the demonstrator home page. I will then email the files to you. Please do not copy or share the files with others. The planner is free and I would ask that you direct any fellow demonstrators to this site, so that I may assist them.
A note about the photos in this planner: Most of the photos in this planner were shot by Teresa Wilds, a Tampa Bay-area photographer who specializes in natural light photography. To visit Teresa's site, click here.
