Saturday was my annual Christmas Card Camp and boy, did we have fun! Four hours of stamping, yummy cupcakes and a door prize for everyone in attendance made for an awesome day. Here are a few photos of the event:

I'd like to thank all the stampers who attended. This event is really one of my favorite days of the year, and I was happy to share it with you!
Here is another example using the new Treat Cups that are featured in the Holiday Mini Catalog. I just love making cards with these little things, although I must admit that a fair portion of the candy doesn't make it into the Treat Cup--can't imagine why! The cups are only $2.95 for a dozen, so they are a fun way to make special Halloween or Christmas goodies for everyone in your office, or your child's classroom. At that price, you can keep a couple dozen of them around for quick cards.
I will be teaching this card at a private Stamp Camp tonight. Private camps are just a group of gals who get together and have me teach a class just for them, usually because they can't make it to my regular camp. This one is for a women's group at a church, but I also do them after school for teachers, or I can meet at your workplace after hours. If you have a group of friends who would like to make some fun holiday projects, contact me and we'll set something up!
I saw a fun bookmark idea in an old cross-stitch magazine, and of course, my first thought was, "that's a Stamp Camp project!" I'm always on the lookout for fast and inexpensive ideas I can make for Christmas or any time during the year and I just love this one.
At camp, you will make 2 of these bookmarks--one for a gal, one for a guy, so that you can have something for everyone on your list! You also will make 2 other projects. Yes, I know we're not even into October yet, but believe it or not, it is time to start talking about Christmas Card Camp! This is my annual holiday-kickoff event, where you will make 20 cards using the Berry Christmas stamp set. You will make 4 different card designs, assembling 5 of each design. Two of the cards are shown here.
Christmas Card Camp will be on Nov. 7, 11 a.m.-3 p.m., at Park Station. You can start arriving as early as 10:30 a.m., to mount your stamp set, which is included in the admission price of $50. All materials are provided; you just bring your adhesive of choice.
All my stampers look forward to this annual event. We have door prizes, Christmas music playing and a whole afternoon of stamping--what could be more fun?
If you can't make it to camp, you can purchase a to-go kit with materials, instructions and color photos of the projects, so that you can make them at home. Also, for the first time, I am offering an extra materials kit, which includes all the paper and envelopes to make another 20 cards at home. The paper will be for the same card designs you make at camp. The extra materials kit costs $15.
The registration deadline for this camp is Oct. 24. Due to the volume of materials that must be ordered, it is a prepaid-only event. Registrations are not refundable; if you cannot attend, the materials will be supplied as a to-go kit. This fun stand-up card is one of 3 projects we will make at Stamp Camp on Sept. 8. While it stands up nicely on a desk or counter, it folds down to fit perfectly into a regular-size envelope. I guess I'm already getting in the back-to-school mode, because my mind is on office supplies! We will make this fun and useful portfolio at Stamp Camp on Aug. 11, 6 p.m. at Park Station. You can fold the portfolio to fit in your purse, or keep it open on your desk to jot down helpful notes. This is just one of three projects you will make at Stamp Camp.

This fun card is another of the projects we will make at this month's Stamp Camp, which is tomorrow, July 14, at 6 p.m.
I used the Big Shot and the large Scalloped Circle die to create the flaps of the gate fold. A gate-fold card is one that opens in the center, rather than at the right or bottom.
The center medallion is another versatile image from the new Circle Circus set.
I love the ways you can cut or punch out this image, then reconstruct it with Stampin' Dimensionals for more impact. I see more "medallion stamping" in my future!
In this case, living in the shadows isn't so bad! This is a shadow-box style 3D card. The beauty of it is that it has great dimension, and yet can be folded flat for mailing. Well, you just knew there had to be a cocktail-themed card for Cinco de Mayo, didn't you? As it turns out, my brother-in-law's birthday falls on this holiday, so I made this fun pop-up card for him, using the Cheers to You set.
I had so much fun making it, that I decided you should have fun making it too, at my Stamp Camp on May 12. The camp is at Park Station on Park Blvd., and there are 2 sessions to choose from, one at 5:30-7:00 p.m. and one at 7:30-9:00 p.m. This is just one of the fun projects we'll be making, so RSVP by May 10.
